All Bakers Delight bakeries across Australia and New Zealand will be donating $1 from every six-pack of Hot Cross Buns sold.  The aim is to raise over $145,000 for the purchase of essential medical equipment to help make a difference for sick children this Easter.

There is Hot Cross Bun for everyone with traditional, fruitless, mocha and choc chip varieties available all contributing to the cause.

Chris Caldwell, General Manager at Bakers Delight said: “We’ve been baking our Hot Cross Buns fresh each day over Easter for thepast  30 years, with over 152 million buns baked across the network. This is our busiest time of the year so it’s a great time to be giving back where we can.

Our aim is to raise more than what we did last year and bake fresh on Bundraiser Day our biggest batch of Hot Cross Buns ever; so we are encouraging all our local customers to dig deep and purchase a six pack on the day or donate in collection tins provided on the counter.”
